The Story Behind Tam Voc Viet
Behind this project is also a personal journey.
When I was in the ninth grade, my father passed away after a long battle with cancer. Years later, in 2011, my mother was involved in a serious accident that resulted in the loss of both of her legs above the knees.
Those experiences changed my life forever.
Rather than giving up, they taught me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of creating something meaningful that could benefit others.
Today, Tam Voc Viet is my way of giving back.
I believe Vietnam has countless remarkable stories waiting to be shared with the world—not only famous destinations, but also local traditions, family recipes, hidden villages, historical landmarks, and the kindness of its people.
My goal is to build a trustworthy resource that helps international travelers explore Vietnam responsibly while introducing the country’s rich heritage to a wider global audience.
I also hope this project can contribute, in its own small way, to promoting Vietnam internationally and encouraging future collaborations with schools, educators, researchers, and cultural communities interested in learning more about Vietnam.
